Eligibility
|
Players will be allocated to the tournaments
on the basis of rankings as published by the ACF on September 2008 to
complete the total number
in each tournament to 11 |
Time Controls
|
| 90 minutes for all moves plus 30 seconds per
move from move one |
Ratings
|
All results will be submitted for ACF ratings
Results of the Victorian Championship reserves and other tournaments
where suitable will also be submitted for FIDE Rating |
Tournament Format
|
| All tournaments where possible will be
11player, 11round robin tournaments |
Ties
|
Ties for cash prizes
The total value of the relevant cash prizes is shared equally by the
tied players |
Ties for non- cash prizes
Where more than two players tie for a Victorian Championship title ,
FIDE count-back systems shall be employed to reduce the number to
twoafter which a play-off match shall be arranged |
